Wagga trainers enjoy family success

Wagga trainers Gary Colvin and Chris Hardy are building on family success with their talented geldings Zarsnip and Zakeriz.

Zarsnip broke through to win at Gundagai on Saturday (June 27), while Zakeriz was an impressive winner at Albury on Monday (June 29).

Both gallopers are sons of former Kooringal Stud stallion Zariz.

Colvin (pictured) also trained Zarsnip’s dam Snipperette (by Snippetson), who claimed a Queen Of The South Stakes (1400m) at Wagga among her seven wins.

Zarsnip is Snipperette’s first foal.

Hardy prepared Zakeriz’s dam Keys To Thekingdom (by Perugino) to four wins, highlighted by the 2008 Young Cup (1600m).
