Another Happy occasion for The Brothers War

Telecom Fighters continued to fly the flag for The Brothers War in Hong Kong with another strong win at Happy Valley on Wednesday (June 23).

The four-year-old led and proved too strong in the 1650-metre event for top jockey Joe Moreira.

Telecom Fighters raced in Australia as Caps Boy and notched a Randwick win for Goulburn trainer Mark Gee before he was sold overseas.

The bay has now registered victories at his past two starts at Happy Valley to take his record to six wins - ranging from 1020m to 1800m - from 17 appearances.

Telecom Fighters is from the first crop of Kooringal Stud's superbly bred The Brothers War (pictured), who has also been represented by the star dual stakeswinning sprinter Ancestry.

The Brothers War will stand at Kooringal in 2021 alongside two-time Group 1 winner Prized Icon and exciting prospects Sandbar and Last Kingdom in their first seasons at stud.
