Following the unfortunate passing of star galloper Riziz last week, the SA racing club have decided to start the process to name a race series after the gelding in the spring, concluding with a $100,000 race named in his honour on the final day. A winner of over 1 million dollars in prizemoney for trainer Ken and Cheryl Sweeney, the Zariz galloper was a stable favourite and will be missed by the Adelaide racing community
