TO EXCESS, a DUPORTH sired 4 year old gelding showed his true class on Saturday, beating a strong field in the Arrowfield Stud Ortensia Stakes at Scone.
The hotly contested race over the 1100 meters was the ideal first run for the horse, taking the lead at the 150 meters and winning by a comfortable 2.4 lengths.
