Tim Forster
After Leaving school in 1989 Tim entered the CSU Bachelor of Applied Science (Equine Studies) course. Tim’s first introduction to Kooringal Stud was through
the work experience program in 1990. Tim worked at Kooringal in ’91 and ’92 breeding seasons and has continued his association with horses throughout
the world.
Nine years of extensive travel and international experience pursuing a riding career in North America and Europe has resulted in Tim progressing to the level
of Professional Equestrian Trainer in dressage, showjumping and western disciplines even extending to the controversial art of bull fighting.
Tim has returned to Kooringal on several occasions to extend his knowledge within the breeding industry, and willingly shares his knowledge with staff,
equine students and management over the years.
In conjunction with his riding, training and breeding interests, Tim has invented the Control-A-Foal harness which is currently being introduced to the
global equine market to assist in the management of foals in the breeding and veterinary world. Tim returned to Kooringal full time in 2007 and manages our
three stallions and the breeding programme.
